Christmas Day!

I love Christmas. I mean, everyone loves Christmas, but I really really love Christmas. It's saturated in traditions that make you fill all warm and cosy and leave you with a great night's sleep and a wonderful food coma. Everyone has their own traditions, so I thought I'd share a few of mine with you. So the day starts with my sister waking everyone up at an outrageous hour, but this year it was actually my brother who woke us all up and it was 9am, so not too bad. Anyway, we all head downstairs, grab a morning coffee or orange juice and head to our stockings!

Santa spoilt me this year, I was pleasantly surprised! My brother, sister and I were all pleasantly impressed. Then, it's food time! Scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, bagels and champagne and orange juice! (Only time it's acceptable to drink champagne at 10am!).

Post breakfast it is showers and dressing up for the day! Ready to crack on with the under the tree presents!

Mum's super excited face, when receiving her tickets to see Barry Manilow...
Some chocolate from the home town!

Even Reggie was super excited about his presents!

Then, time for Christmas Dinner! There were only 6 of us this year, so we thought we'd cost up in the kitchen.

Of course the champagne was flowing, and I was enjoying every minute of it!
So, from then on, we all slumped in front of the television to watch The Santa Clause, Miracle on 34th Street and Home Alone 2! Most of us fell asleep and woke up to Bear Grylls torturing Stephen Fry on a mountain...thank you Channel 4. Anyway, I hope all of you had a magically wonderful Christmas Day, and enjoy your Boxing Day; we've got family coming round...a three year old and a three month year old, I'll let you know if I make it out alive!
